It doesn’t even have full Win 10 support, so it is not suitable for the latest operating system upgrade. The only thing I could find regarding the DCH Design Principles is the architecture which is majorly present for the 7th Gen processors like i7-7920hq. However, through testing and research, it is hoped that at least a few of the CPUs will be added to the list.
And here are some of the machines such as Dell Inspiron 5559, Dell Latitude E7470, and HP Pavilion 15-AU009TX which may have these processors and comes to my mind. In short, if you are using any 6th gen CPUs we recommend you better sticking to Windows 10 or upgrade to later versions.

Yes, the Intel Core i7-6560u processor can easily run Windows 11 operating system but due to the older generation CPU, it is not fully supported. There are plenty of good and bad reviews from users of running this operating system on old devices like slow applications, unable to perform heavy-duty tasks, taking more time to edit videos, etc. In that case, I suggest you to use an old Windows OS and use this processor effectively.
Is Intel Core i7 compatible with Windows 11?
Yes, the Intel Core i7 is fully compatible with Windows 11 but according to Microsoft, it must be from the 8th generation processor. However, there are also some 7th gen CPUs that may work for special devices but mostly all the processors like Intel i7 4710hq and i7 4770 are not compatible. Moreover, as long as your system meets the minimum specs, you should be able to install and use this operating system without any problems. Essentially, all the listed i7 processor comes with DHC-compliant drivers, which is a very crucial feature for the compatibility of the system.
Does Core i7-6500U support Windows 11?
No, the Intel Core i7-6500U processor isn’t currently supported for Windows 11. In addition, from my experience, I was able to successfully install this operating system on my Lenovo IdeaPad 300 which has the same CPU. However, considering that TPM 2.0 doesn’t bring noticeable benefits for most users (except for protecting the privacy and integrity of your data), it is clear that the main reason for requiring it in is to force Secure Boot on and prevent users from trying out other operating systems.
